Fabric & Construction

FR fabric is either inherently flame resistant (the protection is built into the fiber and doesn’t wash out) or treated (a flame-retardant finish applied to a base fabric). Inherent fabric holds its protection for the life of the garment; treated fabric requires following care instructions to maintain protection over repeated washing. We’ll help you choose the right option based on your laundering setup and hazard exposure.
